HOU-R Advances to League Championship Series Thursday, September 17th , 2015 The HOU-R Lone Stars and SD-R Breakers hooked up in a classic Division Series that went right down to the wire. In the end, it's HOU-R heading off to the League Championship Series, after a 13-4 win at Chase Field tonight earned the 2-1 series win. Outside Chase Field, whether they were supporters of HOU-R or SD-R, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget. Luis Antonio Gómez played the hero for the Lone Stars in the series, as his MVP performance included a .333 batting average, with a .385 on-base percentage. He also had 2 home runs, 6 RBI and scored 3 runs. The HOU-R Lone Stars will play against the POR-R Beavers in the next round. POR-R won their series against the NO-R Pelicans 2 games to 0.
