KC-R Takes Division Series Friday, September 19th , 2014 After their 3-2 win today at Barracudas Grounds over the LA-R Angels, the KC-R Jacks will advance to the League Championship Series. KC-R won the series by a 2-1 margin. Leading the way for the Jacks was left fielder Vicente Velásquez, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP. "I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus." The KC-R Jacks will play against the SNB-R Stallions in the next round. SNB-R won their series against the SJ-R Owls 2 games to 1. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. View Boxscore |
