Jacks on to Rookie SOW Saturday, September 27th , 2014 Greyhounds Grounds played host to the climax of an exciting League Championship Series tonight. The KC-R Jacks and SNB-R Stallions battled hard throughout the whole series, for the chance to move on to the Rookie SOW. In the end, KC-R won the final game by a score of 5-4 and took the series 3-2. "I think fans got their money's worth in this series. It was just great baseball all the way around," said Jacks starting pitcher Leslie Stephens, who earned the nod as series MVP. "KC-R fans especially, I'm sure they're all worked up right now." For the series, Stephens had a 3.38 ERA over 5.1 innings pitched. He added 2 strikeouts with a 0-1 record. The KC-R Jacks don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the HOU-R Lone Stars - LB-R Ports series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Rookie SOW schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
