Tillman Gets Award for Relief Work Saturday, October 17th , 2015 He may only be 22, but Terry Tillman of the KC-R Jacks has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the BSBL R1. The reliever was today named the R1 Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2015. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 3 saves in 36 relief appearances and 83 strikeouts in 93.1 innings. He had a record of 5-1 to go with his 1.74 ERA. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Henry Gilliland of the SJ-R Owls finished second in voting, while Emílio Gabriel of the KC-R Jacks finished third.
