Lone Stars Ace R2's Best Pitcher Monday, October 19th , 2015 The 2015 BSBL R2 Pitcher of the Year Award has gone to HOU-R Lone Stars ace Sixto Lucero after a stellar 19-2 season. In 24 starts he piled up 177 innings, 158 strikeouts, 8 walks and a 0.97 ERA. Lucero held opposing hitters to a .182 batting average. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Esteban Villacana of the HOU-R Lone Stars finished second in voting, while Steven Williams of the POR-R Beavers finished third.
