R2's Top Player for 2015 Named Tuesday, October 20th , 2015 Leonardo Reyes of the POR-R Beavers had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2015.
The 20-year-old center fielder put up a .404 average and a .614 on-base percentage, piling up 97 hits, 28 doubles, 3 triples, 27 home runs, 93 RBIs and 87 runs scored.
He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 24. José Cuellar of the POR-R Beavers finished second in voting with 8 first place votes, while Jesús Zúñiga of the HOU-R Lone Stars finished third with 7 first place votes.
