Castillo Slams 3 Deep for SNB-R Sunday, June 5th , 2016 Jorge Castillo went yard three times in a SNB-R Stallions victory over the LA-R Angels at Greyhounds Grounds. "I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit." For the day, the SNB-R catcher went 3-for-4 against LA-R with 8 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Stallions to the 12-5 win. "I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out." Jorge Castillo walked in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th. Castillo has a .395 average and a .576 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 32 hits, 12 home runs and driven in 31 runs. |
