Week's #1 Player: SNB-R's Castillo Monday, June 6th , 2016 One of the league's most exciting young players, Jorge Castillo of the SNB-R Stallions earned himself BSBL R1 Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 21-year-old catcher had a lofty .474 average (9-for-19), collecting 6 home runs, 13 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Thus far this season, Castillo is hitting .395 with 12 home runs, 31 RBIs and 25 runs scored. He has 32 hits in 81 at-bats and has played in 26 games. |
