Piper at His Best, Blanks REN-R Friday, June 10th , 2016 Albert Piper shut out the REN-R Silver Sox, 5-0, on a 3-hit masterpiece for the AUS-R Cowboys at Diamond Kings Park. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," AUS-R skipper said afterward. Piper registered 6 strikeouts and issued 5 walks in pitching a gem. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said REN-R manager after the defeat.
