SD-R Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Sunday, September 23rd , 2012 It's the better-luck-next-time point of the season for the SD-R Breakers. The club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today, and will turn their attention to next year's campaign. "You know, the average player doesn't get that many seasons, so every time you're eliminated, it hurts," said Breakers starting pitcher Enrique Pacheco. The Breakers are still searching for their first playoff appearance. The team has now missed qualifying for the postseason in each of their 3 seasons in the RKY. |
