Spokane Indians hurler Tony Sánchez was at his best as he beat the Tucson Nets, 4-0.
"He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said Tucson manager . "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit."
Sánchez, who is tied for 3rd in the PCAA in strikeouts with 57, fired a 2-hitter and totaled 10 strikeouts and 2 walks in the shutout performance.
Checking out his stats for the season, Sánchez has racked up 3 wins and 2 losses in 7 starts, posted a 2.61 ERA, and struck out 57 batters in 48.1 innings.
