Yates Laces 3 HR Against Calgary Sunday, April 12th , 2015 The old superstition that "bad news comes in threes" certainly came true for the Calgary Cowboys. Ontario center fielder Collin Yates tripled up on the home runs to propel the Beavers to a win, 13-0, at Cowboys Ballpark. "We had our chances to win the game, but we just didn't come through," Calgary manager said. "Yates hit the heck out of the ball." In addition to the homers, Yates collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 3 RBIs and scored 3 runs. "Easy swings get you home runs," he said after the game. "I kept telling myself not to press. They have to be nice and easy swings." Collin Yates grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Álex González in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Álex González in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 6th.
