Cross Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, April 27th , 2015 Lawrence Cross must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .583 clip, then the Spokane third baseman finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the PCAA Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Cross batted .583 (7-for-12) with 3 home runs and 10 RBIs. So far this year, Cross is hitting .455 with 3 home runs. |
