Slaughter Twirls 7-0 Shutout for Surf Monday, May 4th , 2015 Today was Rob Slaughter's turn in the rotation for the Kailua Surf and he made the most of it, shutting out the Laguna Beachers on 5 hits. The 27-year-old left-hander led the Surf to an easy 7-0 victory, allowing 2 walks and tallying 10 strikeouts. "I hope we miss him next time," Laguna manager said. "Slaughter certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
