Wareham Untouchable, Tosses No-Hitter Thursday, June 4th , 2015 In a brilliant performance at Bisons Ballpark, Cheyenne pitcher Leland Wareham entered an elite group by tossing a no-hitter against the Odessa Oilmen. In the effort, he fanned 13 and walked 1, leading the Big Horn to victory, 8-0. "I was getting my off-speed stuff over so they couldn't sit on the fastball," Wareham said in the clubhouse after the game. "My guys made some nice plays behind me and cut off several hits, too." For the year, Wareham has saved 0 games while posting an ERA of 1.90 and 109 strikeouts in 80.2 innings. His totals also include a 6-3 record in no relief appearances. View Boxscore |
