Sailors Heading to Round 2 Sunday, September 13th , 2015 On the strength of a 1-0 win at Cannibals Ballpark, the Santa Cruz Sailors have swept the Hutchinson Salt Hawks to win the Round 1. "We expected to win, but I don't think we anticipated taking the series 3-0," said series MVP Pepe Sánchez. "That's a fantastic team over there, but we wouldn't be denied." For the series, Sánchez had a 0.00 ERA over 8 innings pitched, with a 1-0 record. The Santa Cruz Sailors don't know who they will face in the next round.
