Hemet Beats Walla Walla as Whitaker Throws 5-0 Shutout Tuesday, April 14th , 2015 Herb Whitaker kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Hemet Flindseyes were all smiles after winning, 5-0, against the Walla Walla Wanderers at Wanderers Ballpark. The right-handed Whitaker gave up no runs in his start, permitted 2 hits, and tallied 13 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Whitaker said later.
