Player of the Week: Amarillo's Sánchez Monday, May 11th , 2015 Ezequiel Sánchez swung a blistering bat last week for Amarillo, rapping out 12 hits in 27 at-bats against Thunder opponents to propel himself to the Pioneer A Player of the Week Award. Whenever the right fielder hit the ball, he hit it with authority. The 21-year-old racked up a .444 batting average with 6 home runs, 11 RBIs and 9 runs scored. Sánchez currently has a .288 batting average with 34 hits, 8 homers, 21 RBIs, 18 runs scored and a .375 OBP. |
