Postseason Bid Ends for St. Paul Saturday, August 16th , 2014 Sam Neal didn't hide his feelings when asked by reporters how he felt to know his St. Paul Saints are now officially out of postseason contention. "It's one of the worst feelings you can have as a baseball player," he said. The Saints have missed the playoffs 42 times in their 49 years as a BSBL Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2000. In the last 10 seasons, the Saints have missed the playoffs 7 times. St. Paul last won the Round 3 in 1981. |
