Star SP Signs Pact with Yetis
Thursday, September 4th , 2014
Kosho Hirata inked a deal that will keep the seasoned veteran on the Yetis roster another 3 years. Earlier today team personnel announced that the 36-year-old had settled on a $10,293,333-a-year deal to play at Bombers Ballpark.
It's no secret Hirata is getting older, but he could still contribute a lot to the franchise.
Hirata has made 33 starts, tossed 246.2 innings, struck out 231 batters and walked 35. His record is 18-8 with a 2.96 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .225 batting average.
