Top PAAA Reliever Honored Saturday, September 6th , 2014 The manager of the Corpus Christi Hooks said he always had confidence handing the ball to Bernardo Rosado out of the bullpen. The 28-year-old was a dominant performer all year for Corpus Christi and his efforts have been rewarded with the Pioneer AAA Reliever of the Year Award for 2006. The bullpen ace had an impressive 1.59 ERA this season, with 9 saves in 58 relief appearances. He fanned 167 batters in 101.2 innings and sported a record of 9 wins and 2 losses. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ángel Conner of the Brownsville Impact finished second in voting, while José Morán of the Wichita Aviators finished third.
