Mathew Curtis of the Wichita Aviators had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2006.

The 26-year-old center fielder put up a .305 average and a .387 on-base percentage, piling up 95 hits, 15 doubles, 5 triples, 26 home runs, 64 RBIs and 59 runs scored.
