Douglas Beguiles Monterey Monday, July 7th , 2014 Ray Douglas led the Medicine Hat Pills to a 6-0 shutout victory over the Monterey Sea Lions at Sea Lions Stadium today. "My pitching coach told me before the game just to bear down and focus," Douglas recalled later. "He said no one was going to hit me if I'm throwing a good breaking ball with good location." Douglas yielded 4 hits and had 11 strikeouts and 2 walks in the standout performance. "I thought he put the ball where he wanted to," Monterey manager said.
