Clifton Twirls 6-0 Shutout Wednesday, July 30th , 2014 The Pearl City Divers whipped the Berkeley Beacon 6-0 at Sand Crabs Ballpark today behind a masterful outing from starter Justin Clifton. Clifton shut out the Beacon on 2 hits and 2 walks. He registered 10 strikeouts over 9 innings. "Velocity felt good, everything felt good today," a smiling Clifton said later. "Command felt good, conditions felt good, glove felt good, hat felt good. Seriously everything." Clifton has made 29 starts so far this year and put up a 6-12 won-lost record with a 3.06 ERA.
