Clay Pacific A's Hottest Hitter Friday, August 1st , 2014 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Pacific A, but last week Jason Clay of the Walla Walla Wanderers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Clay rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (10-for-20), 4 home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Clay has hit at a .303 clip and produced 87 RBI, 36 home runs and 79 runs. |
