Peoples got the win, improving to 6-12. He allowed 5 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. Peoples allowed 1 run. The victory puts Portland at 54-95. Portland relied on the hitting of Gerardo Moreno to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Beavers on top, 4-0.
