LB-R Advances to League Championship Series Thursday, September 18th , 2014 The LB-R Ports rode the strong arm of Jesse Weaver to earn a sweep of the POR-R Beavers in the Division Series. LB-R won the final game at Heat Stadium by a 5-0 count and the series 2-0. Weaver was instrumental in the series win and was named MVP. "Hopefully we can do it all again in the League Championship Series," he said. For the series, Weaver had a 0.00 ERA over 9 innings pitched, with a 1-0 record. The LB-R Ports don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the SD-R Breakers - HOU-R Lone Stars series. HOU-R leads the series 1 game to 0.
