Garza goes 3-for-4 in Reno Win
The Reno Silver Sox beat the Austin Cowboys, 9-4, at Clark Field. Manuel Garza, in particular, was impressive. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 4. Gabriel Ordóñez closed the game out for Reno, earning his 1st save. The win puts Reno at 3-6.

Reno used a well-timed hit by César Molina to capture the win. The shortstop socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Silver Sox ahead, 6-4. Though it was his only hit in 2 at-bats, it was important.

"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Garza told the Reno Bulletin.
