Lone Stars Fall to Estrada and Pelicans, 4-1
The New Orleans Pelicans picked up a win at Higgins Park, knocking off the Houston Lone Stars, 4-1. Starting pitcher Sergio Estrada played a key role in the triumph. By defeating Houston, the 5th-place Pelicans improved to 45-47.

Estrada's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 6 strikeouts in 8.2 innings while allowing 4 hits. Estrada, who is tied for 9th in the PL in innings pitched with 117.1, goes to 7-3 on the year with 87 strikeouts.

"Sergio giving us the start that he did was huge," said New Orleans manager Day Breaker.
