Reno Silver Sox starter David Bright turned in a top-notch performance against the Denver Grizzlies at Jellystone Park. The result was a win for the Silver Sox, 6-2. The Silver Sox saw their win-loss record go to 48-49. At the same time, the Grizzlies fell to 63-35.

Reno used the hitting of Manuel Garza to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Silver Sox on top, 3-0. For the game, Garza had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Said Reno manager Zach Ames: "At the end of the day, these guys have to perform between the lines, and I think they did."
