The Las Vegas Strip faced a tenacious opponent in Homer pitcher Manuel Sánchez, but still scratched out a win at Bombers Ballpark by a final score of 4-3 in 12 innings. Sánchez went 8 innings and allowed 3 runs. Charles Chandler earned the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3 innings. He upped his record to 3-7. The win puts Las Vegas at 25-70.

Raúl Ramos came through with a big-time hit for Las Vegas. The third baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the 12th inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
