The Austin Cowboys powered past the Minneapolis Millers, 14-4, at Nicollet Park. Bradley O'Harly provided some of the pop. Prison Bl was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Picking up the win was Jon Martínez. He went 8 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits. The right--hander struck out 5 and walked 2. Minneapolis has now lost 5 in a row.

Wilson Pérez had a big bases-clearing double for the Cowboys in the top of the sixth inning. With Austin leading 4-3 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from Dave Simpson and swatted a double to left. It was his 20th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cowboys ahead, 7-3.
