The Reno Silver Sox defeated the Kansas City Jacks, 5-4, in 12 innings in Pioneer League action at Alamo Park. Reno pitcher Reginald Morgan had a standout performance. Damon Cox, now 3-2, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 2 innings. Reno has a record of 51-50, placing them third in the Pioneer League South.
The Silver Sox got a clutch hit from third baseman Otto Reed. In the bottom of the 12th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Silver Sox.
