The Denver Grizzlies beat the Las Vegas Strip, 10-1, at Banditos Ballpark. Wally Ross, who finished 4th in the PL in stolen bases with 53 in 2009, starred for Denver. He was 3 for 4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs. Andre Parks, who went 7.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 6 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 7-7. With the win, the Grizzlies have a record of 65-37.

With Denver leading 2-0 in the top of the first, Ross hit a fastball from Héctor Peña for a 2-run triple. It was his 3rd triple of the season and put the Grizzlies ahead, 4-0.

"Nothing to write home about," Las Vegas manager Charlie Donovan said, when asked afterward about the game.
