Rainiers Throttled by Ironhorse, 6-1

The Sacramento Ironhorse went home winners at Ironhorse Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Dave Sackett. Sackett stifled the Seattle Rainiers, enabling Sacramento to grab the 6-1 win. Sackett got the win, improving to 6-7. He gave up 5 hits and walked 1 over 7.2 innings. He allowed 1 run. The loss makes Seattle 65-40.
Domingo Ramos helped out the Sacramento cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the shortstop drew 2 walks.
"Dave just settled in and did what he does," said Sacramento manager RR Zayx.
