3-2 Win Takes Acorns to 7-4
|
Oakland and San Francisco played a hard-fought contest.
The San Francisco Seals got a sterling performance from pitcher Cornell Jenkins, but the Oakland Acorns still prevailed, 3-2. Jenkins threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball. Jorge Rodríguez earned the win to go to 3-0. He allowed 2 runs on 2 hits, with 3 walks and 4 strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work. Robinson Pérez was credited with the save for Oakland, his 4th of the season.
