Kelly Fires No-Hitter Against San Francisco
The Mexico City Aztecs relied on no-hit stuff from starter Clyde Kelly to defeat the San Francisco Seals, 4-0, at Ohlone Park.

"It's quite a thrill," Kelly told the media afterward. "This is a top-notch league. A no-hitter against any team in the league is something special. I can't believe I did it."

To get his name logged in the Pacific Coast League records, he stopped San Francisco cold and hitless, surrendering 1 walk and fanning 5 of the 27 batters he faced.

Mexico City manager Jaime Martinez was in a jovial mode after the game, kidding with reporters that Kelly "made managing easy today."

"I didn't have hardly any decisions to make like I usually do," he said. "I didn't even have to come up with a pinch hitter."

To date this year, Kelly shows a 4-11 record, 23 starts, 132 innings, 101 strikeouts and a 4.57 ERA.
