Eagles Suffer 12-1 Drubbing
The Long Beach Ports powered past the Dallas Eagles, 12-1, at Tapatio Park. Cory Black provided some of the pop. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The third-place Ports now sit at 58-59.

With Long Beach leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Black hit a splitter from Leroy Matthews for a 2-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Ports ahead, 3-0.

"We stunk tonight," said losing manager Cameron J, matter-of-factly.
