Las Vegas turned a good effort from starter Lorenzo Morales into a win over the Sacramento Ironhorse at Ironhorse Stadium. The final score was 8-2. Morales got the win, improving to 4-14. He gave up 6 hits and walked 2 over 9 innings. He allowed 2 runs.

Jorge Mendoza helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give Las Vegas a 2-0 lead.

Morales said he was "thrilled" the fans had something to get excited about.
