The San Bernardino Stallions downed the New Orleans Pelicans, 7-4, at Perris Hill Park. The Stallions were led by Tom Huff. Huff went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Tom Moore notched his 2nd save in 2 chances. The victory makes San Bernardino 38-82.

Huff had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-0 slider from Jerry Beckmann, he banged a 2-run double to left-center, giving the Stallions a 5-4 lead. It was the 27th double of the year for Huff.

"Glad to get this win," said Huff. "But we need to keep playing at a high level."
