The New Orleans Pelicans picked up a win at Higgins Park, knocking off the Reno Silver Sox, 6-2. Starting pitcher Sergio Estrada was a big reason why. Estrada, now 2-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing no runs. New Orleans is now 6-6.
