The Oakland Acorns defeated the Sacramento Ironhorse, 5-4, in 11 innings in Pacific Coast League action at Oakland Ball Park. Oakland pitcher Manuel Torres had a standout performance. Robinson Pérez earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 4-2. Sacramento is now 11-10.

The Acorns got a clutch hit from shortstop Gabriel Castaneda. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Acorns.
