San Francisco Seals starter Emory Burch found his groove in his team's 7-4 win over the Oakland Acorns. Losses have been few and far between for the Acorns so far this season. Their record drops to 15-8.

The Seals got a big at-bat from left fielder Manny Cantú. For the game, Cantú was 1 for 4 with a double. In the top of the first, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 10th double of the season gave San Francisco a 1-0 lead.

"I was able to fill up the zone," said Burch.
