The Hollywood Stars defeated the San Bernardino Stallions, 4-3, in Pacific Coast League action at Gilmore Field. Hollywood pitcher Jaime Porcayo had a standout performance. David Allen notched his 6th save of the season. With the win, Hollywood has a record of 23-15. San Bernardino falls to 15-23.

The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Marcos Garza came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing San Bernardino pitcher Jason Gore, he hit a 0-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Hollywood on top, 4-3.
