Yetis Tag Pelicans with 5-1 Loss
At Bombers Ballpark, the New Orleans Pelicans and Homer Yetis were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Barry Jennings, who led the PL in wins with 24 in 2010, had a strong outing for the Homer Yetis against the New Orleans Pelicans at Bombers Ballpark. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 5-1 win. Jennings got the win, improving to 5-3. He gave up 6 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. He allowed 1 run.

The Yetis got a big at-bat from second baseman Ron Davis. For the game, Davis went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Homer a 2-0 lead.

"Barry did a nice job," said Yetis manager Drew Johnson.

The 5th-place Yetis hiked their record to 21-23.
