Dallas Eagles starter Leroy Matthews pitched his team past the Las Vegas Strip in 10 innings, 2-0. Mitchell White notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. Dallas is in 5th place in the Pioneer League South with a record of 57-65.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jeff Dunbar in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 2-run home run off 31-year old left-handed pitcher Charles Chandler to win the game for Dallas. The home crowd went nuts.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Las Vegas manager Charlie Donovan.
