Austin got a terrific performance from pitcher Rafael Infante, but it wasn't enough to beat the Houston Lone Stars. Houston won the Hogg Field contest, 4-3. Infante threw 8.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Austin now owns a losing streak of 5 games.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Houston right fielder Israel González, facing Will Goodwin, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Lone Stars the 4-3 win.

In postgame remarks, González simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
