The San Francisco Seals beat the Oakland Acorns, 5-3, at Ohlone Park. The Seals got a fine performance from left fielder Manny Cantú, who went 2-3 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The Seals now have a record of 58-66 with the win over Oakland.

With San Francisco leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Cantú hit a cutter from Michael Crawford for a 2-run double. It was his 42nd double of the season and put the Seals ahead, 4-0.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Cantú told the San Francisco News.
