The New Orleans Pelicans and Dallas Eagles provided some drama for the home crowd.

The New Orleans Pelicans could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Ronnie Gordon into a win. Instead, the Dallas Eagles prevailed, 4-3. Gordon threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The 5th-place Eagles have won 4 in a row.

Dallas got a knockout punch from Jorge García. The pinch hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," García said.
