Lone Stars Upend Eagles, 6-3

A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Houston Lone Stars and Dallas Eagles.
Jackson Mendoza, who leads the PL in quality starts with 20, was locked in. The left-hander led the Houston Lone Stars to a 6-3 win against the Dallas Eagles at Burnett Field. Houston goes to 77-59. The win puts them 7 games up in their division.
Houston used the hitting of Corey Hauser to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Lone Stars on top, 3-0. For the game, Hauser had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"Jackson was cooking with gas," said Houston manager Eric Benson.
